Back from the north

Hello everybody.
We are back from Norway. It was nice to step into the nice warm summer evening at Stansted after four more or less wet and cold days in Norway. We had a great time visiting friends and some museums though.

This is the famous Ra II in which the Norwegian explorer Thor Heyerdahl crossed the Atlantic.

This is a kind of ship you should be fairly familiar with. Apart from the plundering the Vikings were actually keen farmers. Well, that's what the signs said.

Our puppy is now officially called Zamora after a beautiful village in the north of Spain
She is a big girl at 6.8 kg.

She had her second jab today plus tapeworming which is a requirement from the Swedish authorities. She has a nice blue Passport too but she really doesn't like car travel in a cage.

Flexi is going with us in the Luton van when her daughter is flying Scandinavian Airlines.

I am bringing Zamora to Ryslip Kennels in Berkshire tomorrow. They are going to send her on Thursday to Copenhagen. Nice for her to see the one of the home counties up close.

Before I go a warning. An artificial bone called Nylabone almost caused a choking incident for Lexi on the Isle of Wight. Very unpleasant so keep an eye on your puppy if they are chewing Nylabones.

Cheers, Per
