We have had a very relaxed day. We had a full English except black pudding although I rather like the Lancashire version which is probably the finest in the world. Then we went to the market and the library. Finally we visited the ice cream parlour at the quay and polished of with drinks at the sailing club watching the traffic on the river. How could it possibly get better?
We bought things to chew for the puppies from the pet monger at the market. They became immediate favourites.
It's been a hot day and Gianina has been filling the bowls with water several times.
A very puppylar girl.
They love a cuddle. Particularly a tummy tickle.
This is what we feed the puppies at the moment. I believe they can eat this until they are a year old. You will get vouchers for a free first bag courtesy of Royal Canin.
Tomorrow is a big day. Terri is going to pick her boy and we are making our final decision which puppy to keep. So within a few days the allocation is going to be settled. We are expecting the registration papers from the Kennel Club next week as well.
We had a hickup with KC because they did not approve of having "Forest" as a name on more than one puppy. So Forest Ranger went through but then I had to come up with alternatives. In the end I managed to get approval for Farmer's Girl, Bosun's Lady, Cotton Angel, Coxswain's Scout and Forester's Guide. It's not Kipling but KC liked it.
Cheers, Per
